One of the biggest questions that we get when working with new clients is, when are we supposed to do …? Usually, this is the first time a couple is planning a wedding so they are probably wondering, What does a wedding planning timeline look like? That’s where we come in! At Designer Weddings, we like to break our planning process down into a couple of different parts for our Brides and Grooms. There really are just a few parts of wedding planning and following a few simple tips, will keep you on track all the way through your engagement!
beginning
Hello. It is so nice to meet you both and be on this journey together with you. Welcome to the start of your wedding planning process. At the beginning, we will be getting to know each other and really learning about who you are as a couple. This is going to help us as we move into the second part of the planning!

booking process
The booking process is one of the most important parts of the planning process and is of course, the part we do first! This is where the magic begins and it is where we create the perfect day. During the booking process, we are going to work together to choose the right vendors to make your wedding dream come to life. This special team of individuals is going to create magic for you on your perfect day!
design process
After we have chosen the perfect team to bring your vision to life, it’s time to start designing the day! During the design process, your vision to take shape as we create the look and feel for the wedding day through color, linen, floral, stationary and more!

wrap up process
During the final 8 weeks of the planning process, we will wrap up all of the special details that we have worked so hard on! The event packet will come together during this time and all of the vendors will be brought together to confirm your day of details. It’s almost wedding day!

When wedding day arrives, you both have nothing to worry and stress about because our team has planned and covered every last detail for you. You can sit back, have a mimosa and take in all of the special moments to come as you prepare to say I Do. The day you have waited for is finally here!
