Today’s post is about something we’re seeing in the wedding industry, that makes us feel giddy. That something is: personal traditions, or personal touches. Whatever that personal tradition or touch is, we’re all for it. There’s just something so heartwarming about seeing a monument- if you will, both large and small, of a couple’s love for each other. One special couple comes to mind: Chris and Molly. Chris having built the doors to their ceremony, displayed something you can’t buy in a store. Molly desperately wanted this decor piece, and by profession, Chris knows his way around building things. How romantic! But, you don’t need to be as handy as Chris. Displaying your baby photos, going off-book and cutting out certain wedding rituals like a garter toss- play into what makes you, you! If there’s one piece of advice we could give any couple planning their wedding, it would be to remain true to yourself.
