Courtyard at Lake Lucerne Wedding

Intimate Elopement in Orlando. That was what Dennie and Basil pictured for their wedding day. When they first came to us, Dennie had a beautiful vision to be married in a Garden. She told us how she was inspired by the mansions in Savannah and wanted to create garden romance with an elegant touch. Initially, they were torn between having a big wedding or a more intimate, family focused affair. With a guest list that started to quickly grow over 200 people, they changed directions quickly and decided that going the route of an intimate wedding in Orlando would be the perfect choice for their wedding day. Using a warm color palette of burgundy, blush and champagne, this Winter Wedding Day came to life before our eyes at The Courtyard at Lake Lucerne. This historic venue, complete with garden courtyard, would be the perfect backdrop for their outdoor wedding reception. The ceremony took place at the always beautiful, St. James Cathedral, located in Downtown, Orlando.

One of the many things that we loved about this couple was their want to include fun and special elements into the wedding day. From the fur stoles that Dennie and her Bridesmaids wore to the amazing donut bar to the incorporation of Dim Sum into the hors d’houvres at the reception, there were special elements throughout the day that just radiated personality of this special couple. We loved how Basil made sure that Dennie had her dream day and in the end this gorgeous Garden Soiree at the Courtyard at Lake Lucerne Wedding was absolutely perfect for this special couple.
